Fady Mansour

Ottawa criminal lawyer Fady Mansour

Fady Mansour is a criminal lawyer with Edelson & Friedman LLP.

Fady graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2015 and thereafter clerked at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, where he worked closely with the Justices of the Court. This experience afforded him an opportunity to observe the judicial decision-making process first hand and to observe excellent trial and appellate advocacy.

After clerking, he articled at a prominent defence firm in Edmonton and joined as an associate after being called to the bar in 2016.

Fady is a member of the Law Societies of Ontario, Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

He has acted for individuals charged with a wide variety of criminal matters including murder, attempted murder, firearms offenses, major sexual assault, drug trafficking and child pornography.

In his free time, Fady is an avid target shooter and hunter and as such, he has a strong interest in firearms law as well as offences arising from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act. His personal knowledge of a wide variety of firearms and hunting experience assists him in defending individuals charged with these offences.

Fady understands that being charged with a criminal offence is an extremely stressful experience and is eager to help clients navigate this daunting process.

Fady is fluent in both English and Arabic and is able to assist clients in either language.
